Star Wars ships "pet names"?
Do any of the ships in the Star Wars movies have a "company name"? The Millennium Falcon (if I remember correctly) is not the model name of ship, but Lando or have given him. Have any other ships have a name like that?
Besides the Falcon and Slave I: The only other vessels with names in the movies seem to be the Imperial Star Destroyers. Darth Vader's flagship Star Destroyer (the largest of all others) was called the Executor. There were others such as the Avenger, the Ravager, and so were the smaller Star Destroyers – but the names do not appear likely in the movies directly. The Star Destroyer is seen at the start of Episode 4 was named Devastator, and was chasing the rebels CR90 Corvette, which was named the Tantive IV. And it was called the Imperial ship used by the rebels in "Return of the Jedi" Shuttle Tydirium. I can not think of any other ship seen in movies with names, although there are plenty of boats with names in the Star Wars books and other media.

Meyer Lansky (July 4, 1902 January 15, 1983) was a gangster who, with Charles "Lucky" Luciano, was instrumental in the development of Commission (and, possibly, the National Crime Syndicate ") in the United States.
Lansky developed a rule of the game ranging from Saratoga, Miami, Las Vegas and was officially in charge of gaming concessions in Cuba. He was appointed by Fulgencio Batista y Zald. Although a member of the Jewish mafia, Lansky undoubtedly played a central role in the organization of the Italian Mafia and the consolidation of the underworld (though the scope of this paper has been the subject of some debate).
Immigration and childhood
Meyer Lansky was born Majer Suchowli? Resort to a Jewish family in Grodno (now part of Belarus) Max Suchowli? Ski and his wife Yetta. In 1911 the family emigrated to America and settled on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York. Lansky, while still in school, allegedly met the young Charles "Lucky" Luciano, who tried to overthrow him (get money). Lansky, Bugsy Siegel met as a teenager. They also became lifelong friends, and together with Luciano, formed a lasting partnership. "During the 1930s, Meyer Lansky" discovered "the Caribbean Northeast U.S. union leaders and has invested their illicit profits in a variety of lucrative gaming companies …. Would also have been responsible for the decision of organized crime in Miami to declare a "city free "(ie, not subject to the usual rules of territorial monopoly)." [citation needed]
Lansky later convinced the mob to put Bugsy Siegel in charge in Las Vegas, and became a major investor in the Hotel Flamingo Siegel.
1931 after the conviction of Al Capone on tax evasion and prostitution, Lansky also saw that he was vulnerable to similar prosecution. To protect himself, he was transferred to the unlawful proceeds of his empire of casinos increasing the Swiss bank account numbered, whose anonymity was assured by the Swiss Banking Act of 1934. According to Lucy Komisar, Lansky eventually buy an offshore bank in Switzerland, used to launder money through a network of Shell and holding companies.
War work
In the 1930s, Meyer Lansky and his gang stated that she left their usual criminal activities to break up rallies held by Nazi sympathizers. Lansky recalled a particular rally in Yorkville, a German neighborhood in Manhattan, which, he and 14 other partners interrupted
The stage was decorated with a swastika and a picture of Adolf Hitler's. The speakers started ranting. There were only fifteen of us, but we went into action. We threw some of them through the windows. Most of the Nazis panicked and ran. We were chased and beat. We wanted to prove that Jews do not always sit back and accept insults.
However, no evidence of such activities other than statements of Lansky conducted at a time when he was trying to rehabilitate his image.
During World War II, Lansky was also instrumental in helping the Office of Operation Underworld Naval Intelligence, in which the U.S. government criminals hired to watch out for infiltrators and submarine transmission German saboteurs.
According to the authorized biography of Lucky Luciano, during this time, Lansky, helped arrange an agreement with the U.S. Government through a senior Navy U.S.. This agreement for the release of Lucky Luciano from prison in exchange for the Italian Mafia to ensure the safety of naval vessels being built up along the quays in the port of New York.
