WWII Ship Models.?
What they mean by Waterline Scale Model. I would know in words the baby very detailed. And what does die-cast. And if the water line is and if goodthing is a very thin casting.
I that 'Scale Waterline Models' are representing only ship above the waterline. It seems as if they are in water compared with the normal model that represents the bottom that includes the rudder and propeller / s if necessary. Die-cast metal models are usually models that lack preformed metal details are available in models to assemble. Hope this helps

The United States Marine Corps War Memorial (also known as the Iwo Jima Memorial) is a statue that overlooks the Potomac River at the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery Washington, DC have been placed there in the dedication to all Marines who have given their lives in defense of their country. Its design was inspired by the war more famous photo ever taken time, that the flag-raising atop Mount Suribachi during World War II battle of Iwo Jima in 1945 by winning photographer Joe Rosenthal's Pulitzer Prize. Marines in the photo are Sergeant Michael Strank, Cape Harlon Block, PFC Franklin Sousley, PFC Rene Gagnon, PFC Ira Hayes and John Bradley PHM2 (U.S. Navy Nurse). Strank, Block and Sousley not survive the battle.
Work on the project was authorized by Congress in 1947 and began work on cast bronze monument in 1951 and was inaugurated by President Dwight D. Eisenhower on 10 November 1954 which was the 179th anniversary of the Marine Corps. President John F. Kennedy issued a proclamation in 1961 stating that the American flag be displayed on the website 24 hours a day. The monument was sculpted by Felix de Weldon and designed Horace W. Peaslee. The construction cost was $ 850,000 and the debt was covered by donations, of which 96 percent came from the Marines themselves.
Felix de Weldon was born in Austria on 12 April 1907 and died on 3 June 2003, in Woodstock, Virginia, and was buried in Arlington National Cemetery. Worked on the monument from 1945 to 1954, paying special attention to every detail. The uniforms, helmets, boots were accurately recreated. The 3 survivors of the battle shaping their faces in clay and photos were collected from the 3 that did not survive the battle and were later used in modeling and sculpture of their faces. Bronze casting took almost 3 years to complete. Once carved in plaster, was then disassembled and transported to Brooklyn, New York to be cast in bronze. There, the 108 parties would casting, cleaning, finishing, persecuted, then eventually sent back to be bolted and welded together.
Registration of the statue says, "Uncommon Valor was a virtue," a tribute by Admiral Chester Nimitz, and another says: "In honor and memory of the men of the Infantry United States Marine who gave their lives to their country since 10 November 1775 ". They are also inscribed the names of the campaigns that the Marines have been involved since 1775. The figures are 32 feet high and measures 60-foot mast. The base is made of 700 tons of concrete and 389 tons of black granite from Sweden. At 78 meters on the ground, the monument is among the largest bronze statues in the world.
