One of the greatest pleasures of owning and being master of a historic ship is the pleasure of sharing the experience with the passengers who sail with us. I have spent more than twenty years working in the sailing, and while the love of boats and life in the ocean, is actually the people who make it worthwhile. I left school at sixteen years of serving an apprenticeship in boat building at Cockatoo Island. After the successful launch of HMAS who joined the First Fleet Re-enactment in 1987 as a team of apprentices. It was this event that gave me a richer appreciation of life aboard a square sail. In each round, five pirates modern "line the deck of our magnificent tall ship to shoot the same target with laser guns. Points are awarded if the goal is achieved and results are electronically calculated and displayed on the scoreboard.
